Charisma Turquoise Acrylic Fountain Pen #40092
Inspired by the most beautiful scenes in nature, CHARISMA is as ageless as nature and promising as tomorrow. The 8 faceted CHARISMA Collection offers a combination of aged Celluloid with Mirror Chrome accents or fine Acrylic with Chrome accents, both crafted with the rarest of materials usually reserved for much higher priced writing instruments. The sleek shape of CHARISMA results in a pen that is ergonomically balanced and a joy to use. CHARISMA rollerballs also features CONVERTIBLE 3 convenience by allowing the use of a capless rollerball, PARKER style ballpen, or the new PARKER gel refill. All CHARISMA rollerball pens in the collection advance their point with a precision twist-action mechanism on top of the pen. The fountain pen features a European spring steel nib.

Crystal Collection Blue Enamel Fountain Pen
The Crystal Collection continues the spirit of artistic mastery and the tradition of Old World craftsmanship in incorporating Full Lead English Crystal from the country’s only remaining working Brick Cone. Each Collection piece of fine crystal is blown, cut, ground and polished-entirely by hand – to exact design specifications. A marriage of skill creativity is then achieved by combining the centuries-old technique of Guilloche with the art and expertise of Hard Enamel. Guilloche Hand-crafted from 18-karat gold and .925 Sterling Silver, each unique design passes through multiple stages of precision engraving, creating an intricate pattern. The “Reed and Pellet” design of the Crystal Collection requires two separate levels of engraving; the first forms a pinstriped background which is then interrupted by a second level of circular and floral accents, all upon a solid, hand-crafted .925 Sterling Silver. Hard Enamel Using a mortar and pestle, a composition of glass, water, and metal oxides is ground for hours by hand. A quill is then used to apply each coat, ensuring that the entire guilloche area is completely covered. The components are then fired in a furnace at temperatures exceeding 1000 degrees, fusing the enamel to the metal. After cooling, the pieces are manually ground with a diamond file, restoring their proper shape and surface. This tedious process is repeated until the level of enamel reached the depth required to cover the peaks and fill in the valleys of each intricate guilloche pattern. The world’s first Crystal Fountain Pen is the third in a series of Limited Edition writing instruments in the David Oscarson Collection. Produced in four color variations, each will be limited to production of 128 pieces (100 fountain, 28 roller ball).
